1. Safeguarding training Our Griffin Care Training provides high quality online safeguarding training courses for nurseries, primary & secondary schools, colleges, religious institutes. Website: - https://www.griffincare.co.uk WHAT WE DO Griffin Care Training provides high quality venue-based and online training and consulting services across the UK, mainly in the Children’s Services and education sectors. We have a large training catalogue ranging from online safeguarding training, designated safeguarding lead training and children's mental health courses to managers training, school policy writing and reflective supervision training. With an emphasis on Quality and Value, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality training with our experienced trainers for great value. WHO WE ARE Griffin Care Training started out in 2006 as Griffin Care Ltd - a residential care home for children with severe learning disabilities founded by Val and Dave Griffin. The care home, now under the new name Griffin Social Care is still going as strong as ever, however now catering for adults. With their vast combined experience of over 75 years in Children’s Services, holding positions throughout the sector from front-line practitioners to senior management, Val and Dave began receiving requests to write and deliver training sessions for local authorities across the North West. The more Val and Dave trained, the more requests came in, resulting in the foundation of Griffin Care Training specialising in Children’s Services training. Fast forward to 2020 and Griffin Care Training is delivering a catalogue of over seventy training courses across the UK with special focus on children's mental health training and mandatory training requirements for schools and childcare, for example online safeguarding courses and safeguarding for governors. Val and Dave have now taken a quality assurance role within the company, Tom Griffin has stepped in as the new director to modernise the company and take it in new directions with a small group of experienced trainers who facilitate the training courses.
