Objectives of the Workshop To examine the current situation of young people in sub-Saharan Africa; To promote awareness among regional and national policy-makers about the need to incorporate youth perspectives in development planning To advance recommendations for addressing youth issues and social integration in Africa To identify further capacity-building needs for follow-up activities To foster intra-regional collaboration for youth development

Some underlying objectives… To open up communication channels To share and learn from our collective experience in doing youth work To see how we can work together to accomplish more than we would if we worked alone To possibly contribute to ADF V and WYR2007 To accomplish one or two personal objectives you may wish to set for yourself!
