7. I know you can’t hear me, or see me yet mommy, but I am here. I heard you cry and I know you may be sad or afraid, but it will be ok. I heard people talking about, “what to do”. I heard a lot of things, some words like “pro choice” or “pro life”. I don’t understand any of these words yet, but all I know is I want to live. In fact, I am alive right now. I am not a ball of cells, or “mass” of just anything. I am a unique, little, person. It doesn’t matter how big I am, I am still alive. I can feel and touch. I have little fingers and toes and my heart beats strongly. I have heard you can even get a picture of your tummy and see me. Please do it, so you will know I am here. I know you might be worried about the timing, or the money, but I have heard lots of families have kids in times like these too. They just do their best. But even if they can’t, they find a nice family, who will love and take care of them. If that is what you need to do mommy, that would be better then the other things you talked about. I know one day, if you let me be born, and keep me in your family, that you will love me, as much as I love you. Especially when times get really tough, there will be a time you will pick me up, and hold me, and just know ….KNOW …that things will be ok. You will be glad you had me, I promise. I didn’t plan any of this. I am just here. I feel pain and I will even get the hiccups in here! I’ll kick and you’ll grab my foot and laugh. But I know you might get sick and it will be hard for you, I know it won’t be easy, but once you see my face, once you hold me in your arms, you will know you did the right thing. I have heard there are people who will help you too mommy. That if we don’t have money, or need some other things, that there are family and friends who will help. There are even places called churches and other places who will help us. I can’t promise all your problems will go away. But I can promise, if you let me be born, you will look in my eyes and never be alone again. I just know we can make it. Please just give me the chance to be born. I know that you will love me.
