  4. Explorations 3.3 and 3.6 (Alternative algorithms for addition and subtraction) Expl 3.3 Part 2: do a & b for each algorithm. Expl 3.6 Part 2: do a & b for each algorithm (note typos in b – instead, try 562 – 385, 508 – 476, and 3245 – 683). Again, the names of the algorithms are not important, just try to understand how and why they work.
