III- Another way to innovate: cross-border joint procurement • Meeting of the mayors of European capitals (March 2015) and COP 21 (December 2015) • Joint procurement by the European cities and communities for low-carbon supplies and services • The City and Department of Paris, the City of Brussels, Brussels Propreté, the City of Strasbourg, Greater Strasbourg Area, Greater Bordeaux Area, the City of Athens, the City of Tallinn, the City of Rome, the City of Copenhagen, the City of Madrid, the City of Lisbon and Lyon Greater Area • The City of Paris is designated as lead tendering authority: it is in charge of conducting the procurement in the name and on behalf of all participating public procurers (light vehicles). 7
