Why using a PowerPoint Minimizer? • To make your presentation workable • To put the presentation on the internet (the smaller the size, the faster it can be downloaded) • To decrease your presentation size if you want to email it (the transferring time will be decreased) • To save space on your computer

  5. 3. How to use PPT Minimizer (1) • First, you have to obtain the program from www.pptminimizer.com • Follow the order instructions. Afterwards, you will receive an email with entry codes to activate your copy

  10. 4. Tips on minimizing PowerPoint Presentations (1) • Compress large pictures. Rightclick on the picture in PowerPoint, then choose: format picture and click on ‘compress’ (see figure)

  12. 4. Tips on minimizing PowerPoint Presentations (3) • Insert pictures by ‘Insert > Picture > From File’. This option is better than simply copy and paste a picture from another file • To remove excess data each time you save your presentation, go to Tools > options > Save tab > and clear the ‘Allow fast saves’ check box. Doing this forces PowerPoint to remove excess data from your presentation file each time you save.
