  5. CHARACTERSTICS OF SPECIFIC LEARNING DISABILITIES • Disorders of attention • Perceptual impairments • General coordination deficits • Disorders of memory and thinking • Specific difficulties in the areas of reading, writing, spelling and arithmetic
