Why does AFA Matter to me? • Not just for retirees! • Another way to expand your professional network • Meet great mentors • Serve as a chapter officer or state delegate • Always need volunteers for local events such as: • AF Ball • Space and Cyberspace Symposium • Veteran events • Special Projects • Awards and recognition

How AFA is Involved • Publish AIR FORCE Magazine & Daily Report to educate the membership and the public • Publish independent, policy relevant studies through the Gen Billy Mitchell Institute • Conduct national symposia and disseminate aerospace issues through outreach programs • Sponsor professional development seminars and recognize excellence in • Aerospace Education (AE) • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
