  4. Attendance • Daily attendance is important, this includes being on time. We were disappointed that Kreinhop did not meet our attendance goals last year and it hurt us in many areas.  This year we have set new goals and are working hard to meet them and need everyone’s help. Please have your children at school each day.  Being on time and remaining in school for the entire school day is a critical part of student success. We teach from bell to bell at Kreinhop.  (8:15-3:10!) • Upon return from an absence, the student is required to bring a written excuse signed by a parent within 5 school days after the absence. • Students are required to make up any missed assignments in the same number of days in which student was absent. More details on page 39 of handbook.

  7. Electronics and toys • Cell phones must be silent and not visible during the instructional day. If the phone is confiscated, a charge of $15 will be incurred upon pick up. • Portable music systems, cameras and electronic games should not be brought unless they are a part of a class project. • Toys and games should be left at home unless a teacher has given permission for their use at school.
