  2. Student Data Automated into EasyIEP GOAL: Automate daily student data imports from districts SIS system Reasons: • Have a single database of record for student data in both SIS and EasyIEP • Improve accuracy in reporting, including data used in funding • Reduce errors and issues with 92 and 93 extracts for EIS

  3. Unique State ID Required January 1st, 2014 GOAL: Use the TN DOE assigned state ID as the unique code for all students in EasyIEP. Reasons: • Cleaner data in EasyIEP and EIS statewide • Single data import process

  4. Single Process GOAL: Move from the current two processes to get data into EasyIEP to a single student data import. Reasons: • Faster data transfer • Fewer data issues

  5. PowerSchool Interface GOAL: Use Autosend feature to export data to EasyIEP. Use AutoComm feature to import data from EasyIEP into PowerSchool. Reasons: • Remove added steps to get student, parent, and user information into EasyIEP • Create a process for districts to verify data being sent to EasyIEP COST: $1,000 initial setup fee and $800 a year per import/export type. To setup all four data feeds would be $2,950 a year. This does not apply to current contracts with existing districts.

  6. Skyward Interface GOAL: Use FTP feature to export data to EasyIEP.

  7. EIS Extracts EasyIEP sends EIS 92 and 93 extracts twice a week • Files get created twice a week (Wednesday and Friday) • Districts should be reviewing EIS errors weekly and reporting any issues to PCG
