  2. PERIODONTITIS The plaque and tartar are not removed from the dentin cause a severe periodontal disease that affects the gum line and bones around the teeth.

  3. DIAGNOSIS The dental practitioner consults with a patient about the past medical records and then takes digital x- rays to examine the deeper pocket depths.

  4. TREATMENT Gum treatment can be performed by periodontitis to achieve complete cleaning around the dentin and controls spreading to the nearby tooth. Here, there are two processes, surgical and non-surgical.

  5. SURGICAL It includes flap surgery, bone grafting, soft tissue transplant, and guided tissue regeneration which performs in various ways to extract the damaged tissues and prevent spreading.

  6. NON-SURGICAL This stage involves scaling, root planing, and antibiotics that remove the food debris, tartar, and bacteria, However it executes with an ultrasonic device, oral antibiotics, and some dental smoothening process
