  1. “LBA-ECO Special Issue” for Earth Interactions • jointly produced by the AMS, AGU and AAG • Earth Interactions has recently been “re-launched” with new scientific focus, and new Editorial team • Chief Editor: Jon Foley, Univ. Wisconsin (jfoley@wisc.edu) • completely electronic journal • currently ~5-6 months between submission & publication • no page charges, no color changes • may include data, visualizations, software • archived “forever” by AMS

  2. “LBA-ECO Special Issue” for Earth Interactions • A proposal… • special issue organized around LBA-ECO science questions • could be expanded to include all of LBA • Guest Editors: Marcos Heil Costa (Univ. Viçosa) and Chris Potter (NASA/Ames) • no publication costs to PIs • papers will appear in special “thematic area” of EI web site • papers will appear as they are published • no more waiting for the “slow” papers!
