My advice to you
My advice to you.

  • An injury will NEVER improve with rest alone. Symptoms may settle but will resume once activity recommences, putting other joints at risk

  • If a joint is swollen, and bruised, something has happened to it and it needs further assessment: physio or orthopaedic

  • Never advise heat for pain if acute, or acute on chronic. Always suggest icing... See the icing protocol.
