2012 Olympics in P.E. for 3rd to 5th Grade: A Fun and Engaging Sports Event

Teams from various countries, including China, Germany, Japan, and the USA will compete in thrilling events such as the 4x100 Shuttle Relay, Mile Run, Swimming Medley on scooters, and more. Students will demonstrate teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship as they strive for medals in individual and team sports. Each event will be timed or judged based on Miss Chunn's criteria, ensuring a fun and competitive atmosphere. Let the games begin!

  2. Countries 3rd Grade: • Groce = China Ray = Germany • Plaster = Spain Robinson = Great Britain 4th Grade: • Brown = Japan Naulty = USA • Peatross = Jamaica Clark = Austria 5th Grade: • Buckingham = Mexico Ary = Canada • Edmond = France Halden = Italy

  3. EVENTS • 4 x 100 Shuttle Relay • Mile Run • Standing Long Jump • Swimming Medley (on scooters) • Volleyball • Badminton • Handball • Ping Pong

  4. Scoring • Individual events will be timed/measured and the scores will be averaged. • Team sports will be judged based on the following criteria:

  5. Follow the rules of the game given by Miss Chunn. • Teamwork • Cooperation (get everyone involved) • Sportsmanship • Skill

  6. MEDALS Each class will compete in each event for a medal 1st Place = Gold 2nd Place =Silver 3rd Place =Bronze 4th Place =White
