  1. 3 Basic Problems of Chiller Systems and their Possible Causes

  2. Even after regular checkups and maintenance of chiller machines, they can face issues and degradation over the years due to the continuous workload or damages on different parts of the system.

  3. Whenever a client calls in to report an issue of the machine, the respective HVAC chiller services take an immense effort in reaching down to the customer and repairing it for better performance. There are three basic problems that are usually seen in chiller machines and here are some of the most possible reasons behind these failures.

  4. CHILLER MACHINE DOES NOT POWER ON One of the most common causes of a machine not turning on would be a loose contact or an improper voltage line that gets high and low at times, whereas a chiller requires a constant voltage source.

  5. In cases of three-phase units, an incorrect phase connection could result in this problem. There is a possibility of the circuit or fuse to be blown or tripped that cuts the current supply. It could also be a simple mistake of not noticing that the machine is in an “off” position.

  6. INSUFFICIENT FLUID FLOW Constant fluctuations in the voltage can result in this issue. The fluid stored in the reservoir would be insufficient for a powerful flow.

  7. There is a high chance that the process line, process valve, fluid filter etc. are pinched or blocked with dirt restricting the fluid flow. This issue can also arise if the process piping is too small when the requirement is higher. A failure of the pump.

  8. INSUFFICIENT COOLING EFFECT Fluctuating voltage sources may cause this issue of inadequate cooling. The air filter or the condenser could be clogged. The coolant fluid within the machine could be unsuitable for temperature requirements.

  9. INSUFFICIENT COOLING EFFECT Fluctuating voltage sources may cause this issue of inadequate cooling. The air filter or the condenser could be clogged. The coolant fluid within the machine could be unsuitable for temperature requirements.

  10. The earlier heat transferring properties of the coolant fluid must have deteriorated over the years. There could be a refrigerant leak. The evaporator could be filled with ice.

  11. These three are the most common problems seen around chiller machines that trouble the effective functioning of the system. The best chiller repairing in UAE and other parts of the world are definite in providing their qualified services in repairing and fixing all the chiller related problems for better functioning of the machine in the future.
