PhD Student Needed for Research on Strained Hydrocarbons with Unique Spatial Structures

We are seeking a dedicated Ph.D. student for a study focused on highly strained hydrocarbons characterized by unusual spatial structures. This research primarily involves calculations related to molecules that feature planar cyclohexane and nonplanar aromatic rings, including an exploration of tetravalent carbon atoms in linear arrangements. If you are interested in the synthesis and analysis of these unique compounds, please explore the selected articles on our webpage about highly strained hydrocarbons. For inquiries, contact me at dodziuk@ichf.edu.pl.

  1. Ph D student needed for a PhD study involving mostly calculations for strained hydrocarbons with unusual spatial structure. If you are interested in molecules having planar cyclohexane and nonplanar aromatics rings, linear arrangement of bonds having a tetravalent carbon atom at the vertex and similar pecularities, some of which do exist while other await their syntheses and in proves of the unusual structure, have a look into the selected articles on highly strained hydrocarbons with unusual spatial structure listed on the webpage and contact me at dodziuk@ichf.edu.pl.
