  1. EEWT-projekti, lajin kehittäminen • Olavi Lähteinen • Turun ammatti-instituutti, suunnittelupäällikkö • Skills toiminta: • WSC elektroniikan pääekspertti • EuroSkills elektroniikan pääekspertti

  2. EEWT-projekti • EEWT = European Electronics Workshop Team (promoting EuroSkills and national competitions) • Budjetti n. 210 000 € • Leonardo-projekti 10/2008 – 12/2010 • Kilpailutoiminnan kehittäminen, erityisesti kilpailutehtävien kehittäminen syksyn 2010 EuroSkills 2010 kilpailuihin Lissaboniin

  3. EEWT-projekti • Jatkoa ModVoc-projektille: http://wsc.turkuai.fi/modvoc/index.php • Projektin kotisivut: http://skills.turkuai.fi/euroskills/eewt/ • Projektin osallistujamaat: • Suomi, Turku AI, koordinaattori • Suomi, Ammatillinen opettajakorkeakoulu, Hämeenlinna • Ruotsi, Englanti, Hollanti, Slovakia, Malta ja Turkki • Tavoitteena kehittää kilpailutehtäviä vastaamaan paremmin käytännön työelämän elektroniikka-asentajille asettamia ammattitaidollisia vaatimuksia • Tavoitteena myös vaikuttaa elektroniikka-asentajien opetussuunnitelmiin osallistujamaissa

  4. EEWT-projekti • Kysely toteutettiin O*NET tietokannan määrittelemien ammattitaitovaatimusten ja –kuvausten määrittelemien kuvausten perusteella: http://online.onetcenter.org/ • Ammattitaitovaatimuksista jätettiin kuitenkin pois ammattitaidolliset vaatimukset, joita voitaisiin arvioida ainoastaan todellisissa autenttisissa työympäristöissä

  6. EEWT-projekti • Tasks (10-13) • • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components. • Tools & Technology; Tools used in this occupation: • Multimeters — Signal measuring equipment • Technology used in this occupation: • Computer aided design CAD software — Cadence software; MicroSim Pspice; Prentice Hall Electronic Workbench MultiSim • Knowledge ( 7-10) • Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

  7. EEWT-projekti • Skills • Troubleshooting —Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. • Abilities; Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range • Work Activities • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person • Work Context • Work With Work Group or Team — How important is it to work with others in a group or team in this job? • Job Zone • Work Styles

  8. EEWT-projekti • We select from those items most important to professions and industries and then we ask from industries • What is priority level for this item (scale 1-5) • How often is the task performed? (scale 1-5) • This process gives for us list of most important task, skill etc… • “ Skills Matrix”

  9. EEWT-projekti

  10. EEWT-projekti • EuroSkills electronics Task production timetable and responsibilities

  11. EEWT-projekti • Example of final unit layout

  12. EEWT-projekti

  13. EEWT-projekti • EuroSkill kilpailuun tuotettavat dokumentit • Technical Ouline ( lajikuvaus) • Test Project proposal consists of the following documentation/files: • 1. TP3090_EN_ES2010_1.doc • 2. TP3090_LaserRobot_Technical manual_EN_ES2010_01.pdf(pdf version of drawing 01) • Final Tasks

  14. Test Project ES2010 3090 Electronics Task phases in Lisbon are as follows: First day, Competition time is 6 h Start situation: All countries will be informed about constructions and basic programs. Module A. Assembling and commissioning of an electromechanical device Assembling of main parts ( First 2 hour both team members do assembling, then design part is given ) Testing of basic unit with ready made software Module B. Designing and building of an electronics unit Phase 1 in module B; Design of laser card circuit ( New version including small circuit design part) and PCB-board layout EEWT-projekti

  15. Test Project ES2010 3090 Electronics Second day, 8 h Start situation: All tasks are given at same time. Team have to take care of workload planning. Laser card have to prepare first, part of programming can be done at same time and finally during test phase is possibility to finalize also fault find and measuring ? Module C. Programming of electronics; Phase 1 in programming Main idea; Laser beam is “cutting” figures from a given plate (first simple figure and finally more demanding). Movement are driven by stepper motors! EEWT-projekti

  16. Test Project ES2010 3090 Electronics Module D. Measuring and fault finding Third day, 3-4 h Start situation: Robot have to be fully functional after day 2 From module B, phase 2; Building and testing of the new laser card From module C, Phase 2; Final programming part; New possibilities in laser driving Module E: Presentations and communications ( different part during all competition days) EEWT-projekti
