  6. DATA ANAYSIS • Collect the data • Compute the % difference from resting pulse • Graph your results The graph to the right shows two persons pulse rate as BPM at REST I, Breath hold II, Recovery III, +Bending IV, and Cold Dip V

  7. DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS ! • What can cause pulse rate to vary? • Which set of conditions triggered the greatest response? • Is the Marine Mammal Diving Response observed in humans? • How can it help persons survive drowning?
