  3. Purpose of the Quiz • Test knowledge of note placement on the staff • Supplemental evaluation • Application of music theory

  4. Software • Double-click the icon on the desktop • Maximize the program to fit the screen • Click on Note Trainer button • Click on Ledger Line button three times (to off) • Start taking quiz

  5. Taking the Quiz • Type the correct letter of the note shown on the staff • Ten notes for each clef • To change clefs • Click on Clef Select button • Turn off treble clef • Turn on bass clef • Repeat step one • Partner tracks progress and score

  6. Taking the Quiz • Partners trade places and reset the score and clef • Write down your score on your instruction sheet in the appropriate place

  7. Reflection Questions • Answer questions regarding today's activity • Use AlphaSmarts to answer questions • Open a new file • Do not erase any files • Print answers when finished
