  8. Course offering • Bachelor: • fundamental concepts of ICT (in Dutch): 60 hrs, 1st semester • Master • ICT law in Belgium (in Dutch, open for all faculties): 45 hrs, 2nd semester • Seminar “Law and ICT” • Postgraduate programme : see following slides

  9. Content • Semester 1: Introduction • ICT • IT Law • Communications Law • Semester 2: Advanced • ICT (legal informatics – information extraction) • IT Law (practice-oriented) • Communications Law (scenario)

  10. In practice • classes of about 15-20 students • master of laws • external students • eulisp exchange students • majority takes (per semester) • 3 ICT-related courses (obligatory) • 2 or 3 IPR-related courses • 2 or 3 courses in EU of international business law

  11. Evaluation • Pro: • one post-graduate programme – bundling of efforts • Contra • limited autonomy • less flexibility for (inter)national co-operation
