  2. Meeting withAndrea Valente Associate professor Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology Andrea is an associate professor who lives in Esbjerg with his family but he´s italian, he was born in Torino. He explained us his experience: to live and to study abroad.

  3. Study atAalborg University Esbjerg • Suppose you want to attend AAUE • In all Europe: Bachelor (3 years) + Master (2 years) • Then: • No fees, • Some courses in English, • Classes of 10-20 students • They help you find accomodation

  4. After 3 years of Bachelor you can: • Start working • Take a Master here in AAUE • Take a Master in another country in Europe

  5. To have a deeper knoledge you must have both theory and practice • During semesters you have to elaborate in groups some projects similar to real world problems • You must use a scientific method • After the master someone also publishes his projects

  6. Meeting withthreeexchange studentsfrom threedifferentcountries: • Ghana • Italy • Pakistan

  7. Studying abroad • When you are studying abroad it´s very important to be open minded about the different cultures • To study abroad you must adapt yourself to new habits and new surroundings • You don´t judge other cultures coparing them to yours but you have to consider that every country is different and these differences make the world wonderful

  8. It is not necessary that you learn the national language in the country where you study because there are some courses in English and everyone can speak English • Learning the official language of the country can be very usefull to find a job. People also like if you speak their language: they understand that you appreciate their colture
