  2. Creating Coff using cygwin • Download appropriate MIPS cross compiler • Extract it and keep it in the same parent folder as nachos inside the cygwin home folder

  3. Creating Coff using cygwin • Open Cygwin • Write “export ARCHDIR=/home/santu/mips-x86.win32-xgcc”

  4. Creating Coff using cygwin • To see whether ARCHDIR is properly set or not, type $ARCHDIR in the terminal.

  5. Creating Coff using cygwin • Also write “export PATH=$PATH:/home/santu/mips-x86.win32-xgcc”

  6. Creating Coff using cygwin • Go to nachos test folder and type gmakeand your problem is solved.
