  2. Festival Events begin Friday morning with a Golf Tournament sponsored The Chamber of Commerce. Followed Friday evening with “Pickin in the Park” Bluegrass Gospel groups will be playing at Middlebrooks Park in Bonifay. March 21, 2009

  3. Main Events Black-Eye Pea cook-off Judging will begin at approximately 11 :OO am (to be determined by the Festival Committee). Awards will be announced after all judging has occurred and will be in conjunction with the decoration and other awards. Entry fee for each kettle will be $50.00. Prize money (18t) $150.00; (2nd) $100.00; (3rd) $75.00. Best of show: Cooking Area: $35.00 Costumes: $35.00. Winners also get a Black Pot trophy. Contact our Festival committee or website for further details and application.

  4. Exhibit Space Information All spaces are 10 x10. With electricity…………….…$45.00 Without electricity……………$40.00 Church Affiliation…………….$25.00 No tables, awnings or extension cords will be provided. Exhibitors will be able to set up on Friday. Security will be available. Application must be turned in by March 4, 2009 Craft Exhibits

  5. Historic Home TOurs Home owners and local historians will be available to tell the history of local home sites while visitors tour via horse and carriage.

  7. Down Town Bonifay Streets will be turned into a dance floor as local Square Dance and Clogging groups take to the streets to dance the day away. Featuring a local well know caller ”Ernie Griffin” Dancing in the Street

  8. Local groups will be entertaining throughout the Festival day. Bands, Chorus, Drama Teams, Karate, Local Singers, Sidewalk Sunday School, Demonstrations and More! Outdoor Entertainment
