  7. Broward County has more Reclaimed Water than Customers A total of 16 potential large reclaimed water users have been identified for this project. Initially 11 are located in PBC. 7

WIN - WIN Regional Project Concept • Broward County: • Legislative requirement to implement reuse by 2018 and eliminate Ocean Outfall by 2025 • Limited reclaimed water demand • Palm Beach County: • Heavy demand for reclaimed water in south PBC • No reclaimed water currently available south of Clint Moore Rd. • SFWMD : • Project will Eliminate Over 20 MGD of groundwater irrigation 7.3 Billion gallons per year 9

Proposed Schedule • BCC Workshop – August 27, 2013 BCC directed staff to negotiate Agreement with Broward County • Broward County will execute Inter-local Agreement – April, 2014 • Palm Beach County will execute Inter-local Agreement – June, 2014 • Begin design of distribution system – Mid 2014 • Construction of first phase – Mid 2015 2 MGD ADF by 2016 & 10 MGD ADF by 2023
