  4. WEEKLY OVERVIEW DAY 1 - STATIONS AND UNIT ACTIVITY EXAMPLE: JUMPING JACKS, PUSHUPS, ETC DAY 2 - AEROIBIC ACITVITY AND UNITY ACTIVITY EXAMPLE: TAE BO, JAZZERCISE, ETC DAY 3 - FLEXIBILITY + FITNESS FRIDAY AND UNIT ACIVITY EXAMPLE: YOGA, BANDS, WEIGHTS NOTE: MUSIC WILL BE PLAYING DURING ACTIVITY

  5. WEEK 1: FOOTBALL DAY 1: STATIONS + ULTIMATE FOOTBALL (SPLIT) DAY 2: TAE BO + 1 HAND TOUCH FOOTBALL (COED) DAY 3: YOGA + 2 HAND TOUCH FOOTBALL (COED) NOTE: PASSING RULE

  6. WEEK 2: SOCCER DAY 1: STATIONS + SOCCER DAY 2: JAZZERCISE + SPEEDBALL

  7. WEEK 3: ULTIMATE FRISBEE DAY 1: STATIONS + FRISBEE SKILLS DAY 2: AEROBICS + ULTIMATE FRISBEE DAY 3: CORE TRAINING + ULTIMATE FRISBEE

  8. WEEK 4: ADVENTURE + PROBLEM SOLVING DAY 1: STATIONS AND PROBLEM SOLVING GAMES EXAMPLE: HUMAN KNOT, SPIDER WEB, ETC DAY 2: JUMP ROPE AND PROBLEM SOLVING GAME EXAMPLE: WIND IN THE BREEZE, TRUST FALL

  9. WEEK 5: KICKBALL DAY 1: STATIONS AND KICKBALL DAY 2: SWEATING TO THE OLDIES AND KICKBALL DAY 3: PILATES AND MAJORITY RULE (OUTDOOR)

  10. WEEK 6: BACK TO ELEMENTARY DAY 1: STATIONS AND ELEMENTARY GAMES DAY 2: WEIGHTS AND ELEMENTARY GAMES

  11. WEEK 7:SELF DEFENSE GUEST SPEAKER FOR TWO CLASS SESSIONS DAY 1: STATIONS + SELF DEFENSE DAY 2: TAE BO + SELF DEFNESE DAY 3: YOGA + MAJORITY RULE

  12. WEEK 8: BOWLING • THERE WILL BE NO FORMAL CLASS FOR THE TWO DAYS THIS WEEK. • PERMISSION SLIPS AND INFORMATION. • CLASS WILL BE HELD AT LOCAL BOWLING ALLEY.

  13. EVALUATION and ASSESSMENT Grading Rubric Assessor Name of Player/Team Assess the game etiquette demonstrated by the player(s). Circle the most appropriate response for each criterion. 1. Encourages others (says things like nice shot, good hustle, etc.). 1 2 3 4 5 2. Wins or loses gracefully (doesn't throw temper tantrums; shakes 1 2 3 4 5 opponent's hands after the game). 3. Both partners on the team played equally (one person didn't hog the court and try to dominate play). 1 2 3 4 5 4. Correct calls were made; they didn't attempt to cheat. 1 2 3 4 5 5. Courteous to others (we really enjoyed playing the other team because they were so nice). 1 2 3 4 5 Levels of Performance 1 Student never demonstrates criterion. 2 Student demonstrates criterion in less than 50% of the opportunities presented. 3 Student demonstrates criterion in more than 50% of the opportunities presented, but less than 75%. 4 Student demonstrates criterion in more than 75% of the opportunities presented, but less than 100%. 5 Student always demonstrates criterion.

  14. Nutrition Assignment Student’s will be asked to keep a week journal of their Food intake and Exercise. www.mypyramid.com Student’s will create an account with the above and will enter their food and exercise into the program. Student’s will then calculate their energy balance.
