  10. I use a wheelchair to get out and about. Even being pushed by a helper it is very hard to steer a straight line. Street crossings are usually steep and deep to negotiate. Tree roots do lift the surface and are not easily seen. Councils seem to be very reluctant to remedy this problem as we wheelchair users are in the minority and therefore unimportant. I can't afford the risk of being stranded somewhere.
