  2. AERSCREEN WORKGROUP PROGRESS REPORT • WORKGROUP GOAL: Develop an AERMOD screening procedure (AERSCREEN) that will provide concentrations as conservative as predicted by AERMOD in refined mode and allow quick run time. • CURRENT PROGRESS: AERSCREEN v1.6 (Beta) has been developed and is currently being tested. This version contains all desired elements (i.e. including wake, terrain and averaging period ratios) for point sources. The documentation is being developed. We plan to release this version within the next several weeks.

  3. AERSCREENFINALIZATION WORKGROUP • Jim Haywood, Chair, Michigan • Roger Brode, MACTEC • Herman Wong, EPA • Warren Peters, EPA • Karen Wesson, EPA • Bob Paine, ENSR • Anna Maria Coulter, EPA

  4. AERSCREENBETA VERSION CURRENT CAPABILITY • Interactive data entry (DOS Screen) • Point source only • Flat and Complex terrain (DEM 1-degree files) • PRIME building downwash (specific stack location) • MAKEMET meteorology with site specific surface profiling • Re-Use of Previous AERSCREEN Run Files • Stand-alone version of MAKEMET for “refined” screen runs
