But what are they?!?! • More Examples • Observing time is precious - commensal observations can provide much more telescope time than possible with dedicated observations. • More Information • Interferometers generally provide much better position information, with VLBI systems potentially yielding milli-arcsecond position information. - Location, Location, Location! • If voltage data is captured, much more in depth analysis is possible - e.g. coherent de-dispersion, very high time resolution, etc...
