Project Goals • Young Grenadians building their own businesses.GYEP will foster an entrepreneurial approach in young Grenadians by providing business training. • A significant reduction in glass containers being dumped in the Perseverance Landfill by 2016.Business opportunities to recycle glass and produce economically viable products.

Target Group • Young Grenadians 18-25 years • Dedicated to live and work in Grenada • Determined and enthusiastic • Entrepreneurial spirit – great attitude • Requirements – one of the following: 1. Completion of an Associate’s Degree; 2. At least two (2) CAPE or A ‘Level subjects; 3. At least three (3) years working experience

  14. What we offer • Training and coaching on business development and working with glass • Workspace & basic machinery, facilities for start-up phase • Lunch & transport (first phase) • No salary to be generated by participants through grants/sponsorships and sale of products

  15. Project Scheme • 3 months initial training phase – 2 full day sessions per week, develop ideas → 26 days • 4-6 months business start up phase – mix of training and business oriented tasks, first products • 3-5 months coaching phase – get independent and sustainable
