Complaints may be brought to any of these levels and may be resolved at any point in this diagram

Site/rotation supervisor

PD either ID or MM

Resident rep on IDMMREC

Committee consists of:

Program Director(s)

Division Head (ID or MM)

Department Chair, Pathology and Molecular Medicine

** Resident representative

IDMMREC review commitee*

Postgrad Education Review Board

*If an issue concerns one of the PD the process may be initiated by the other PD

**the resident launching the complaint will decide if they would like a resident representative to be included in the committee, this resident will be from outside of the ID and MM programs
