  4. Step Three • Remove the GCF of each group.

  5. Fourth And Final Step • Use the distributive law to rewrite the expression

  6. Example 3x2 + 6x - 4x - 8 (3x2 + 6x) - (4x + 8) 3x (x + 2) - 4 (x + 2) (3x - 4) (x + 2)
