  2. Why should I know how to spell, I mean, I’ve got Spellcheck right? • WRONG! Spellcheck DOES NOT catch everything, and it’s not always on! • You look less than intelligent. • People will not respect what you have to say if you do not respect yourself enough to fix your mistakes.

  3. Seriously, who’s going to judge me for my horrendous grammatical errors?

  4. Teachers

  5. Employers

  6. This 8 year old

  7. You will be judged by anyone who reads your writing and thinks, “Man, this person must not be very smart.” Even if you are smart. Even if you’re “just” on social networks.

  8. Potential Love Interests

  9. Everyone!

  10. Ok, ok, so people will judge me, but my lack of knowledge in grammar and spelling won’t affect important things like my job. • Yes it will!

  11. What if you decorate cakes for a living?

  12. Or make road signs?

  13. Or any other type of sign or advertising?

  14. Well, my carelessness won’t affect my personal life. • We’ll see about that . . .

  22. Or just plain dumb.
