Observations & Responses • Most of Public Health workforce without formal training in Public Health • Non-accredited training not recognized by Personnel Depts • No recognized career ladder in Public Health for workforce • Accredited ASDPH at College of Micronesia – FSM (Aug 2009); Palau Community College (Nov 2013) • In Discussion: ASDPH development at College of Northern Marianas, College of the Marshall Islands, American Samoa Community College or by blended learning from COM-FSM and / or PCC • Specialty Tracks with ASDPH Program: Emergency Health Management (developed by CDC) and more planned • Discussions on articulation to Fiji National University Bachelor’s in Public Health
