Time-Sensitive Networking Market_ (1)

A set of IEEE 802 Ethernet sub-standards is called time-sensitive networking (TSN), which is defined by the IEEE TSN task group. Such standards allow deterministic real-time communication over the ethernet. Determinism over ethernet is achieved by TSN, by using time synchronization and a schedule that is shared between network components. By defining queues based on time, TSN ensures a bounded maximum latency for scheduled traffic through switched networks. This states that in a TSN network, latency of critical scheduled communication is guaranteed.
