  5. 商品的品名 1、品名条款的内容 国际货物买卖合同中的品名条款的规定，并无统一的格式，可由交易双方酌情商定。 合同中的品名条款一般比较简单，通常都是在“商品名称”或“品名”(Name of Commodity)的标题下，列明交易双方成交商品的名称。有时为了省略起见，也可不加标题，只在合同的开头部分，列明交易双方同意买卖某种商品的文句。 品名条款的规定，还取决于成交商品的品种和特点。就一般商品来说，有时只要列明商品的名称即可。但有的商品，往往具有不同的品种、等级和型号。因此，为了明确起见，也有把有关具体品种、等级或型号的概括性描述包括进去，作进一步限定。此外，有的甚至把商品的品质规格也包括进去，在此情况下，它就不单是品名条款，而是品名条款与品质条款的合并。

  6. 商品的质量 商品的质量(Quality of Goods)是指商品的内在素质和外观形态的综合，前者包括商品的物理性能、机械性能、化学成分和生物特征等自然属性；后者包括商品的外形、色泽、款式和透明度等。

  7. 品质（Quality）条款的英文表达 品名及规格条款（Commodity Name and Specification）也称品质条款，两者通常订立在一起,它是合同的基本条款，表达方式如下： 例1：圣诞熊，货号S312，16厘米，戴帽子和围巾 S312 16cm Christmas bear with caps and scarf 例2：“威尔逊”牌足球，真皮手工缝制 “WELSON” brand football, genuine leather, hand-sewn 例3：中国大米 良好平均品质 CHINESE RICE F.A.Q. 碎粒 最高20% BROKEN GRAINS(MAX.) 20% 杂质 最高0.2% ADMIXTURE (MAX.) 0.2% 水分 最高10% MOISTURE (MAX.) 10%

  8. 商品的数量 约定商品数量的意义 商品的数量是国际货物买卖合同中不可缺少的主要条件之一。按照某些国家的法律规定，卖方交货数量必须与合同规定相符，否则，买方有权提出索赔，甚至拒收货物。

  9. 数量（Quantity）条款的英文表达方式 例1：800公吨，卖方可有5%溢短装 Quantity：800 metric tons, 5% more or less at seller’s option 例2：1000公吨，以毛作净，卖方可有5%溢短装，增减部分按合同价格计算 Quantity：1000 metric tons, gross for net, 5% more or less at seller’s option at contract price

  10. 商品的包装 包装的重要性 商品包装是商品生产的继续，凡需要包装的商品，只有通过包装，才算完成生产过程，商品才能进入流通领域和消费领域，才能实现商品的使用价值。这是因为，包装是保护商品在流通过程中质量完好和数量完整的重要措施，有些商品甚至根本离不开包装，它同包装成为不可分割的统一体。

  11. 包装（Packing）条款的英文表达方式 例1：每20件装一盒子，10盒子装一纸箱，共500纸箱 Packing:20 pieces to a box,10 boxes to a carton. Total 500 cartons only. 例2：纸箱装，每箱净重50公斤 Packing: in cartons of 50 kilos net each.
