LIFESTYLE • Fashion • Dress and hairdos were extravagant and over the top for high society • It was common for men to wear wigs • The more money, the finer the clothing became • Entertainment • The Minuet dance was crucial for any Enlightenment gentlemen or lady to know • Ladies loved to gamble over long games of cards and gossip • The harp was the favored instrument for ladies; it showed their grace and talent • Conversation became an art form in the Salons of France
