I’ve been accepted, what’s next? • EOGs MUST BE 3 or 4 • Continuation Requirements: • Community and service hours (starting June 11) – posted through Parent Assistant/form available on our website • Pass a world language • Pass all core courses, health/PE, and at least one elective • Attendance • Follow code of conduct

  5. I’ve been accepted, what’s next? Immunizations – Tdap **CMS requirement

  6. Core Courses • All students take math, LA, science, social studies, and health/PE • All students take world language (high school level Span/French) • Placement based on this year’s EOG scale scores – honors is 95th percentile and above • No standard courses offered

  7. Electives: • Drama • Keyboarding • Art • 2nd World Language OR • Band or orchestra

  8. Block 2 • Used for clubs, IB topics and advisory • Club sign-ups in the fall • No remediation

  9. Transition to 6th Grade • Parent 101 • Open House • 1st Weeks of School • Parent Assistant – progress reports

  10. Sports – only for 7/8, if applicable Schedule – distributed 1st day of school Buses – mailed one week before school starts PE – dress out after 1st day Dress code – what not to wear IEP/504 – meet in fall Check the school website for any info (including details on summer reading) FAQs
