Partners in cooperation CEITEC is a joint project of Brno Universities and scientific-research institutions: • Masaryk University in Brno • Brno University of Technology • Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (Institute of Biophysics of the ASCR, Institute of Analytical Chemistry of the ASCR, Institute of Scientific Instruments of the ASCR, Institute of Physics of Materials of the ASCR, Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics of the AS CR) • Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno • University of Veterinary and Pharmaceuticy Brno • Veterinary Research Institute Cooperating partners are also City of Brno South Moravian Region

Preliminary project structure The CEITEC will consist of four closelycooperating centers of thetopresearch inthe area of life sciences,material sciences andadvanced technologies and the group ofinformation technologies - Mendel Research Centre - Biomedical Research Centre - Centre for Protection of Animals and Humans - Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies - Dpt. of computer and information technologies
