英语口译课程是英语专业本科生的专业技能必修课,是英语专业主干课程, 英语口译(一)2学分。

1) 初步了解翻译基础理论和英、汉两种语言的异同;

2) 了解口译背景知识和训练口译的基本技巧,就专题进行交替传译,将中等难度的英语篇章或段落译成汉语,能将中等难度的汉语篇章或段落译成英语。译文忠实原文,语言通顺。

3)能较准确、流畅地进行日常生活及一般外交活动的汉英对译。

3. Teaching Principles

将口译技巧训练与口译专题型内容练习相结合,仿真的口译活动与真实的口译实践相结合,口译的文字材料与口译的音像视频相结合,课堂教学采取听录音口译、模拟现场口译和角色扮演等口译练习形式,努力创造口译的现场工作感,提高学生的实际口译能力。

  • 每周必须收听VOA、BBC广播,以训练良好英语听力,为做好英译中提供先决条件。
  • 每周必练教师推荐口译材料。可以采取对子练和个人听录音后自己口译的形式。
  • 每次上课开始前5分钟,学生进行现场翻译录音,并存入学生口译练习档案文件保存。

  • 采取听录音口译方式,在语言实验室将学生译文录下来;
  • 考核学生对所学知识和技能的掌握情况及临时现场口译应变能力,内容要求涵盖面广;
  • 题型为英汉互译。
