  2. The Israelites left Egypt for about 1 year • God loves them & wanted to live among them • He instructed Moses to build a special place called the Tabernacle of Meeting • The Tabernaclewas a moveable tent with moveable furniture

  3. The Tabernaclewas at the centre • God appeared as a pillar of cloudover the Tabernacle by day & pillar of fireby night • The Israelites only moved when the pillar of cloud lifted • God gave Moses specific instructions how to build the Tabernacle

  11. Do you remember … • The story of the MANNA? • The people complained against God & Moses: • “… you brought us into this desert to kill this whole assembly with hunger” • REMINDER: God always provides for His people • WARNING: Be thankful, and don’t complain against God!

  12. Do you remember … • The story of the 10 COMMANDMENTS ? • Moses went up to Mount Sinai to receive the 10 Commandments • God punished people for worshipping the golden calf! • REMINDER: God’s Covenant (promise) to Israel • WARNING: To obey God’s law
