ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards - Overview • Goods Inwards is a dedicated function, designed to make booking an instrument in as efficient as quick as possible • Bar-coded instruments can quickly be entered into the system • Instruments which are recognised by the computer will display all information automatically • Accessories can be recorded, with individual barcoded labels • Complete service requirements can be recorded, including comments which automatically appear in front of the engineer using ProCal BARCODE SCAN OR KEYBOARD ENTRY

  3. ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards – Selecting Instrument • Identify an instrument by Serial Number or System ID Enter details to allow the system to detect a new instrument or display an existing instrument

  4. ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards – Address(es) • Confirm / Select / Enter address(es) Addresses for certificate, customer and despatch can be set. New addresses can be typed in here and added to the contacts database with the click of a button. To add a new address, enter the details in the boxes and click Add / Edit Address

  5. The instrument information is displayed for an existing (known) instrument, or details can be entered for a new (unknown) instrument • If instrument photo’s are configured, this is displayed if available ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards – Instrument Details By selecting the model number, an autolookup is made to check if any procedures match. The manufacturer and description are then automatically filled in (requires ProCal)

  6. Select accessories Accessories can be recorded and a bar-coded label produced • The accessories select screen can be customised to display up to 20 items ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards – Accessories Click the Print Accessories Labels option to automatically print labels when BOOK IN is clicked

  7. ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards – Job Information • Confirm / Select / Enter address(es) Addresses for certificate, customer and despatch can be set. New addresses can be typed in here and added to the contacts database with the click of a button. Enter comments here to notify the engineer of any relevant information (requires ProCal) Service Type Certificate Type

  8. ProCal-Track :: Goods Inwards – Completing • On completion of the information, clicking the BOOK IN button performs the following actions : • Creates a NEW instrument if not existing • Updates and adds a new event to an EXISTING instrument • Print all documents / labels • Adds the instrument to the Instruments Booked In section Click the Cancel Button to abort Booking in Instrument Virtual Job sheets can be viewed in full by selecting from the ‘Instruments Booked In’ list
