  3. Cyprus is one of the Mediterranean Islands • Located between Turkey and Egypt • Cyprus' estimated population is 730,000 of which 87.5 percent belongs to the Greek Cypriot community and 12,5 percent to the Turkish Cypriot community.

  4. November 1914-Cyprus was annexed by England. • British period started here and it lasted until 1960.

  5. Age of English education • English of primary until university • British Universities (like Reading)

  6. Newspapers (Local Newspaper “Kibris” is also translated and published in English in order to keep the tourists informed) • Road Signs (Greek/Turkish and English) • Touristic Places • Products

  7. From the 1st Of May 2004 Cyprus Is a member of the E.U • All the European people can live in Cyprus without any permissions( for work or as tourists)
