Assist in monitoring and evaluating of program activity.

Emory is required by law to maintain the control of Forms DS-2019 and to send the DS-2019 directly to the scholar:
“either directly or via an employee, officer, or agent of the sponsor, or to an individual designated by the exchange visitor”[22 C.F.R. 62.12(d)].
Accurate record of program dates.
Positive report sent to SEVIS
New DS-2019 is issued.
Allows 30-day window to remain after end of program.
Reports negative reason to SEVIS
Failure to abide by rules
Failure to participate
