Can I be involved in cheer or band and play volleyball Possibly – very difficult for most students to juggle multiple extra-curricular activities and fulfill requirements of the 4x4 Can I be in IB classes and be a volleyball player? Absolutely!! Do I have to play club volleyball in order to make the team? Not necessarily – More playing is a definite advantage at the high school level. All of my returning Varsity played club volleyball this spring Do freshman get cut during try-outs? Rarely, but possibly.
