FY05 School Year ProgramsHighlights (Fall and Winter Sessions) • More than 4,100 students in math and 2,100 in English Language Arts (ELA) were served by districts, high schools, community colleges, and partnering organizations during the fall and/or winter. • 56% served were in the 11th grade (’06), 26% in 12th grade (’05), 14% in 9/10th grade (’07/’08), and 4% were post-12th graders (’03/’04). • Over 23%more students who participated earned their competency determination (CD) on Nov.04/Mar. 05 retest than those who did not participate.

FY05 School Year ProgramsHighlights Continued (Fall and Winter Sessions) According to SIMS data reported by districts: • Nearly 50% of students served were eligible for free/reduced lunch. • Overall, approximately 40% served were Special Education (SPED) and 15% Limited English Proficient (LEP) (nearly 30% served in ELA were LEP). • 50% of students served were White, 24%Hispanic, 22% Black, and 4% Asian/Pacific Islander.
