  13. Pre-start Procedure Athlete line-up: • 1 waiting area • Go through a timing mat – check your own name on the screen if you have the right chip – if not, please contact the timing personnel on spot! • Jog to the start • Select a position and staybehind the line!

  25. Advice of Penalties • How do you know if you need to serve a penalty? • The official will do the following – • Sound a whistle or horn • Show a YELLOW CARD • Call your number • Advise you of the PENALTY • If you are shown a RED CARD, you may be disqualified

  26. Penalties • stop in the next Penalty Box and must stay there for 2 minutes for standard distance • It is the athletes responsibility to stop in the next Penalty Box. Failing to do this will result in disqualification. • A second drafting offence will lead to a disqualification
