Saflufenacil - Regulatory Status • Full data package submitted for registration in January 2008 in Australia, Canada and USA • Favorable toxicology, ecotoxicology, and environmental profile • Tolerances proposed for: vegetable legumes CG 6, 7 fruit and nut trees CG 10, 11, 12, 14, almond hulls cereal grains CG 15, 16, sorghum stover cotton seed & gin BP sunflower seed grape animal liver & kidney • Currently undergoing a trilateral workshare review with APVMA, EPA and PMRA • Registration projected for 2Q 2009 • Market introduction in 4Q 2009

Saflufenacil - IR-4 Project Opportunities • Potential IR-4 Food Uses: • Post-Directed burndown: berries (CG 13), pomegranate, fig, kiwifruit, other tropical/subtropical fruits (trees, shrubs, vines) olive, hops, in crop row-middles • Harvest-aid desiccation:potato, edible legumes, oilseeds • Postemergence:sugarcane • Other non-food or feed uses:post harvest desiccation (tomato) forage grasses (pasture, biofuels)
