שְׁמַע, יִשְׂרָאֵל: יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְהוָה אֶחָד.

2. אַחֵינוּ כָּל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל, הַנְּתוּנִים בְּצָרָה וּבַשִּׁבְיָה, הָעוֹמְדִים בֵּין בַּיָּם וּבֵין בַּיַּבָּשָׁה, הַמָּקוֹם יְרַחֵם עֲלֵיהֶם, וְיוֹצִיאֵם מִצָּרָה לִרְוָחָה, וּמֵאֲפֵלָה לְאוֹרָה, וּמִשִּׁעְבּוּד לִגְאֻלָּה, הַשְׁתָּא בַּעֲגָלָא וּבִזְמַן קָרִיב. Acheinu kol beit yisrael, han'nutunim b'tzara uvashivyah, haomdim bein bayam uvein bayabasha. 3. רָצָה הקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְזָכּוֹת אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל לְפִיכָךְ הִרְבָּה לָהֶם תּוֹרָה וּמִצְוֹת שֶׁנֶאֱמַר ״ה' חָפֵץ לְמַעַן צִדְקוֹ יַגְדִּיל תּוֹרָה וְיַאְדִּיר״ Ratza Hakadosh Baruch Hu Lezakos es Yisrael Lefichach Heerba La’Hem Torah oo-mitzvos She-ne-e-mar Hashem Chafetz Lema-an Tzeedko Yagdil Torah Ve-Yadir G-d, who is the source of all blessings, wanted to give goodness to the Jewish people, therefore he gave them Torah and Mitzvos in abundance, as it is said, “Hashem desired for the sake of it’s (The Jews’) Righteousness, That the Torah be made great and glorious”

4. הִנֵּה אֵל יְשׁוּעָתִי, אֶבְטַח וְלֹא אֶפְחָד, כִּי עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ יְיָ, וַיְהִי לִי לִישׁוּעָה. וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם מַֽיִם בְּשָׂשׂוֹן, מִמַּעַיְנֵי הַיְשׁוּעָה. לַייָ הַיְשׁוּעָה, עַל עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶֽךָ סֶּֽלָה Hiney Kayl Yeshoo-asee Eftach Velo Efchad Kee Azee VeZimras Kah Hashem Vaye-hee Lee Leeyeh-shoo-ah Ooshavtem Mayim Besahason Meemaynay Hayeshooah LaHashem Hayeshooah Al Amcha Beerchasecha Selah Behold G-D is my salvation I will have trust and not be afraid The Lord is my strength and my song and He has become my salvation You shall draw water with joy from the wells of salvation Salvation belongs to G-D Your blessings be upon your people.

5. טוֹב לְהֹדוֹת לַה', וּלְזַמֵּר לְשִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן. לְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּֽקֶר חַסְדֶּֽךָ, וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ בַּלֵּילוֹת Tov Lehodos La’Hashem ULazamer Leshimcha Elyon LeHagid Baboker Chasdecha Be’Emunatcha Balaylot It is good to give thanks to the Lord and give praises to Your Name Exalted One to tell of Your kindness in the morning and your steadfastness by night

6. אִם אֶשְׁכָּחֵךְ יְרוּשָׁלָיִם, תִּשְׁכַּח יְמִינִי. תִּדְבַּק לְשׁוֹנִי לְחִכִּי אִם לֹא אֶזְכְּרֵכִי, אִם לֹא אַעֲלֶה אֶת יְרוּשָׁלַֽיִם עַל רֹאשׁ שִׂמְחָתִי eem esh-kachech et yerushalyim tishkach yemini Tidbak leshoni lechiki eem lo ezkeri Eem lo aleh et yerushalayim al rosh simchati Jerusalem if I forget you, let my right hand forget what it’s supposed to do, may I lose my power of speech if I forget you…If I don’t raise you up on my happiest days…

7. שְׁמַע קוֹלֵנוּ ה׳ אלוֵֹקינוּ חוּס וְרַחֵם עָלֵינוּ וְקַבֵּל בְּרַחֲמִים וּבְרָצוֹן אֶת תּפִלָּתֵנוּ She-ma Kolaynoo Hashem Elokaynoo, Choos Verachaym Alaynoo….Ve-kabel Berachamim oo-veratzon es tefilasaynoo Hear our voices G-d, our All Mighty Ruler Have pity and Mercy Upon Us and accept with compassion and favor our prayer

8. שְׁמַע, יִשְׂרָאֵל: יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְהוָה אֶחָד. Sh'ma Yis'ra'eil Adonai Eloheinu Adonai echad. Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our G-d, the L-rd is One.

9. אֶשָּׂא עֵינַי, אֶל-הֶהָרִים-- מֵאַיִן, יָבֹא עֶזְרִי. עֶזְרִי, מֵעִם יְהוָה-- עֹשֵׂה, שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ. הִנֵּה לֹא-יָנוּם, וְלֹא יִישָׁן- שׁוֹמֵר, יִשְׂרָאֵל. Essa einai el heharim, meayin yavo ezri – ezri me'im Hashem oseh shamayim va'aretz. - Hineh lo yanum v'lo yishan shomer yisrael. I lift my eyes up to the mountains​, from where will my help come? My help comes from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth. (Behold! The rock of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers.​)

10. והיא שעמדה לאבותינו ולנו, שלא אחד בלבד עמד עלינו לכלותינו, והקדוש ברוך הוא מצילנו מידם. V’hi sheam’dah laavoteinu v’lanu. Shelo echad bilvad amad aleinu l’chaloteinu. Ela sheb’chol dor vador omdim aleinu l’chaloteinu, v’hakadosh Baruch hu matzileinu miyadam. This covenant that remained constant for our ancestors and for us has saved us against any who arose to destroy us in every generation, and throughout history when any stood against us to annihilate us, the holy one blessed be he kept saving us from them.
