These are defined pieces of work that are segmented into a series of tasks called stories. Epics are based on the customer or end user’s requests andJira software is used to fulfill them.   2. An epic contains a large task that can be broken down into smaller subtasks which are referred to as “issues” in Jira software. Epics often involve multiple teams, multiple projects and are tracked using more than one dashboard. Epics are always delivered through a series of sprints. The team can learn all about epics through their development history, customer feedback, and other user stories. They can add and remove tasks wherever necessary. One of the keys of Agile epics is that they are meant to be flexible and can be changed according to customer feedback or team availability.
