  14. Repair Flow Chart (Temp. Sense) START Check real CPU/ MB temp. is ok Confirm CPU fan attached on the CPU is good, rotation is ok. Change NG CPU fan or any NG R.C.L.Q. for fan power circuit NG OK NG OK Check Bios is ok Change Bios if Bios is NG NG OK OK Check VREF is ok Check VREF related circuit, R.C. components are good Change any NG R.C. components OK NG OK NG Check Temp. sense related circuit is ok Check Temp. sense related circuit, R.C. components are good NG Change any NG R.C. components OK NG OK Change I/O (H.M. controller) Finished

  15. Repair Technique (Temp. Sense) Check real CPU or MB temperature is ok or not, if ok change bios first; if NG check CPU fan rotation and contact is good. Check VREF (Reference Voltage). If NG check VREF related resistor & capacitor. Check Temp. Sense signal (TR CPU or TR MB).If NG check related resistor & capacitor. 4. If check above signals there’s nothing abnormal, please try to change super I/O(Hardware Monitor controller).

  17. Diagram Sample (Fan Sense) Connect to SIO

  18. Diagram Sample(Fan Sense)

  19. Repair Flow Chart (Fan Sense) START Check real fan rotation is ok Check fan power 12V is ok Change NG transistor for 12 V fan power OK NG NG OK Check Bios is OK Change Bios if Bios cause Fan RPM error OK NG NG OK Check Fan sense related circuit is ok Check Fan sense related circuit, R.C. components are good NG OK Change any NG R.C. components NG OK NG Change I/O (H.M. controller) Finished

  20. Repair Technique (Fan Sense) Check real fan rotation is ok or not, if NG check fan 12V related circuit. Especially check fan transistor which provides fan 12V. Check Bios is ok or not. Check Fan Sense signal (CPU Fan, Chassis Fan, Power Fan). If NG check related resistor & capacitor. If check above signals there’s nothing abnormal, please try to change super I/O (Hardware Monitor controller).

  24. Repair Flow Chart (Voltage Sense) START Check real voltage is ok (Vcore,3, 5, 12 V) Check Vcore circuit, power supply and power cable is ok. Change NG power supply. Cable or Vcore related NG component OK NG OK NG Check Bios is OK Change Bios if Bios cause voltage detect error OK NG OK Check VREF is OK Check VREF related circuit, R.C. components are good Change any NG R.C. components NG OK OK NG Check Voltage sense related circuit is ok Check Voltage sense related circuit, R.C. components are good Change any NG R.C. components cause voltage detect error NG OK OK NG Change I/O (H.M. controller) Finished

  25. Repair Technique (Voltage Sense) Check real voltage (Vcore, 3.3V, 5V ,12V )is ok or not, if ok change bios first; if NG check Vcore related circuit or check power supply (power supply cable also included) is good. Check VREF (Reference Voltage). If NG check VREF related resistor & capacitor(104P). Check Voltage Sense signal (12Vin, 5Vin, 3Vin..).If NG check related resistor & capacitor. If check above signals there’s nothing abnormal, please try to change super I/O (Hardware Monitor controller).
